PO. 2. Gains sufficient knowledge in the fields of social sciences and Turkish Language and Literature; gains the ability to apply theoretical and practical information in these fields to solve the problems of Turkish Language and Literature.

PO. 3. Examines the Turkish language in terms of phonetics, structure-morphology, syntax and semantics; achieves the ability to use Turkish correctly, beautifully and understandably.

PO. 4. Produces original studies by examining the developmental stages of historical and contemporary Turkish dialects, phonetics/morphology and vocabulary.

P0. 5. Gains the ability to collect data for the analysis of texts belonging to the field of Turkish Language and Literature or for the solution of their problems, access old and new sources for this purpose, analyze and interpret the results.

P0. 6. Gets to know world literature and culture (gender roles, traditions, language, culture, etc.) closely and finds the opportunity to compare them with Turkish literature and culture. Compares literary texts of different nations.

P0. 7. Uses the knowledge he/she has on basic subjects such as aruz meter, rhyme, redif, verse forms of Old Turkish Literature to conduct original studies on historical periods, poets/writers and works of this literature.

P0. 8. Gains the skills to detect, define and solve complex problems in Turkish Language and Literature and related fields by selecting and applying appropriate analysis methods.

P0. 9. Creates an original product by determining a text written in Ottoman Turkish that has not been studied.

Identifies the basic characteristics of the periods in the history of New Turkish Literature; It observes and evaluates the new forms and themes that played a role in the period, the new literary language and imagism, women's and men's literature from romanticism to realism, from modernism to postmodernism, from feminism to existential and psychoanalytic approaches, and the writer-text-reader relationships; compares them with the past and determines their effects on the future.
